I love Jill Shalvis' books, but this wasn't a favorite. Mia spent too much time hurting everyone, including herself. I would have liked to have seen her learn The Important Lesson earlier in the book, so we have a chance to see her be happy with all the others. And the resolution with her niece seemed too sudden and too pat.
Overall I liked the book, but felt the middle was too long and the ending was too rushed.
